This recruitment is for full-time, FLSA non-exempt positions for agencies that participate in the Firefighter/Paramedic consortium. Presently, seven agencies are participating in this recruitment: Carson City Fire Department, East Fork Fire Protection District, North Tahoe Fire Protection District, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, North Lyon Fire Protection District, Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District and Storey County Fire Protection District. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (for all agencies):
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
All required licenses and certificates must be maintained in active status without suspension or revocation throughout employment.

Possession of a valid unrestricted driver’s license.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an F endorsed drivers license (or the equivalent).
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid Ambulance Attendant Certificate (see agency timelines for obtaining this certification/licensure).
Possession of a current NREMT-P (National Registry Paramedic) or a current Nevada Paramedic certificate or a current California paramedic certificate.
Possession of a current CPR Healthcare Provider certificate.
Possession of a current ACLS card.
Possession of a current PALS or PEPP certificate.
Possession of, or the ability to obtain, ITLS and PEPP certificates.
