PAY STRUCTURE: Hourly rate: Step 1 = $19.14/hr (annual equivalent $55,735.68/yr based upon 2,912 work hours/year)
High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
Basic Firefighter certification from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.
Paramedic certification or license from the Texas Department of State Heath Services.
Maintain Paramedic Certification with the Texas Department of State Health Services, as a condition of continued employment.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with fellow employees, superiors, and citizens.
Pass all entrance examinations and pre-employment tests.
Valid Texas Drivers’ License and a safe driving record in accordance with the current policy in affect with the City of Keller. Minimum of non-CDL Class B exempt required within 12 months of employment.
Good vision – Per the medical requirements established by the current edition of National Fire Protection Association Standard 1582.
