Firefighter Paramedic – Pasco County, Florida

Salary: $44,000.00 – $61,662.00 Annually

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Six months of experience as a Paramedic or one year of experience as an EMT. Paramedic or EMT experience may be in the pre-hospital setting or working in a hospital-based emergency room.

Those candidates who do not meet the minimum experience criteria MAY still be considered, however, if selected would be offered a position as a Firefighter/EMT, which is at a lower pay grade for the amount of time necessary to meet the minimum pre-hospital experience requirement.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
Qualified applicants selected for interview are REQUIRED to bring copies of their full driving record; CPAT; Current registration by the State of Florida as a Paramedic; Current certification by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety and Health Institute in BLS and ACLS; Certificate of Compliance from the Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training; Social Security Card, Valid driver’s license.
